Spring birding on Mount Gilboa

The end of March and April are an excellent time to visit the Gilboa. a beautiful variety of birds can be seen during this period.
Local species such as: Long-legged Buzzard, Lesser Kestrel, Common Cuckoo, Long-billed Pipit and Blue Rock Thrush that are busy during the breeding season alongside migratory species like Lesser Spotted Eagles, Steepe Buzzards, Little Swift, Rock Thrush, Eastern Orphean Warblers, Ortolan Buntings end Cinereous Buntings
. All these can be found in one successful morning.
