The Jordan Valley birding Lodge - Unique birders accommodation within the Jordan Valley Birding Center
Nestling in the heart of the beautiful Beit Shean Valley, the lodge is the perfect place to base yourself for the amazing birding experiences and locations here in Northern Israel.
Our warm Israeli hospitality is second-to-none and well known within the international birding community. We guarantee you an unforgettable stay in our recently renovated lodge, which includes welcoming indoor and outdoor communal areas, a relaxing lounge, dining room, lecture theatre and more! Birders and wildlife lovers are our priority, and this theme runs through all elements of the lodge, from our expert guides to the name of your room!
Our priority is your comfort, and we have a selection of well-equipped rooms available, as well as options for half board and full board – whatever your needs, we’ll do our best to accommodate them!
We know that early mornings are often the most important time of day for birding, and with this in mind we offer fruit, coffee and tea for early risers and provide a full breakfast up until 1100hrs – more like a brunch to set you up for the afternoon too!
All our rooms come with free and reliable wifi.
We are very happy to accommodate special dietary requirements – just let us know in advance.
The Tree Pipit rooms
All eight Tree Pipit rooms are doubles, and open out onto our shady central communal area beneath our Tipa tree.
Suitable for 2-3 people.
The Tree Pipit rooms include:
- 1 Double Bed or 2 Single beds, an additional bed can be set if needed
- Cable TV
- Free WiFi
- Air conditioning – warm and cold. We ask that you keep the room at a comfortable temperature (not excessive extreme)
- Sofas
- Kitchenette with: Refrigerator, Microwave, Kettle, Coffee, Tea, Sugar etc, stove and cooking utensils.
- Our water is spring water and you can drink tap water without any hesitation

The Black Francolin suites
The Black Francolin rooms, are family suites that open to the compound with grass and shade from beautiful Ficus trees. The complex includes outdoor seating areas, garden furniture and barbecue area.
The Black Francolin Suite has two bedrooms, Bathroom and a living room.
